Be there. Give GPS a second.
Get within 80 metres of a drop. Keep MEMEGO open while your phone takes three fresh readings over at least 12 seconds. If the signal is too rough, step away from tall buildings and try again.
GOOD WALKS. FAIR CATCHES.
The short version of what happens when you tap Catch. No mystery witnesses. No secret handshake.
Get within 80 metres of a drop. Keep MEMEGO open while your phone takes three fresh readings over at least 12 seconds. If the signal is too rough, step away from tall buildings and try again.
We compare your recent readings. Jumps that are too fast for the elapsed time and GPS accuracy are rejected. A shaky signal can trip this check too; wait at the drop before retrying.
Your request is tied to your signed-in account, wallet and that exact funded drop. The approval expires after 90 seconds. Reusing it cannot pay the drop twice or send the payout to a different wallet.
The current service allows up to five catch approvals per account in 24 hours, with two minutes between approvals. Shared daily and local hourly limits also slow down mass attempts. An approval still counts if you do not submit the transaction.
The donor’s wallet cannot be the catcher or another linked wallet on the same MEMEGO account. Bring a friend if you’re testing a drop you funded.
A successful claim pays the tokens straight to your wallet. The game contract enforces settlement. MEMEGO’s location service decides whether to approve the location check.
A phone can lie about its location. These checks reduce abuse; they cannot prove every player is a unique human or that GPS was never spoofed. We do not currently use accelerometer checks, phone fingerprinting, physical codes or an independent witness network.
Catch-count limits restrict frequency, not the token amount at risk. Donors choose their amounts. A big drop deserves a carefully planned hunt.
A MAP OF DROPS. NOT OF PEOPLE.
